Members of the Lackawanna Superintendent Student Advisory Council (SSAC) recently welcomed LHS alumnus Haythim Alkadi, a Project Lead at General Mills, for an inspiring conversation about education, perseverance and personal growth.
Alkadi shared reflections on his time as a student, his undergraduate journey earning Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering degrees from University at Buffalo and the realities of entering the workforce after college. He spoke openly about the highs and lows of his educational and career path, encouraging students to work hard, push through challenges and continue developing themselves.
His message focused on resilience, lifelong learning and striving for greatness, leaving students motivated and inspired as they plan for their own futures.
