Today, Thursday, April 11, 2024, the teachers and students at Truman Elementary School practiced an announced 'Lockdown' drill. We followed all safety protocols as clearly outlined in the New York State Guide to School Emergency Response Planning. For future drills, you will be notified to keep you informed and updated.
On Friday, April 12, as a follow up to the drill, Office Kwiatkowski, our School Resource Officer will host mini assemblies for our students to continue learning how to “Be Prepared, Not Scared.”
