Congratulations to Julius Arias, claiming the Section VI Division II Championship title in the 110m hurdles and ultimately finishing 12th overall in the New York State Division II Track & Field Championships this weekend in Middletown, NY.
Julius has come a long way, starting the season with no track experience to become an elite athlete in one of the sport's most challenging and technical events. His performance this season drew the attention of multiple college coaches and shows the tremendous athletic talent and potential we have in Lackawanna. Best of all, he'll be back next year!
