students in life vests on a boat

On September 28, Mr. Miller joined the MS/HS life skill classes on the Excalibur fishing charter.  Excalibur is a private, non-profit all-volunteer, charitable organization dedicated to providing adaptive boating and fishing opportunities for developmentally challenged and disadvantaged persons.

Thank you, Mr. Miller for sharing your fishing expertise and patience, especially for students who never held a pole. The weather kept us close to shore, we lost some bait to hungry fish, but we've been invited back in the spring to reel in the BIG ONE.

"I hope more students get to experience this through Mr. Miller's Fishing Club too. What a great local organization to support!"  Ms. Sara Zahn, LMS Life Skills teacher, said.
